Funding For Slavery Project!

We just received news that Mondriaan granted us money to for our slavery project! This will enable us to reconstruct slave huts in the garden of the museum and set up a exhibition on the Schotsenhoek slave village excavation! Read more in our ‘News’ section!

Oven in Lower Town

Today, we have been cleaning a newly exposed building in Lower Town. It is some sort of oven, but we’re not sure about its precise function. Please check ‘news’ or our facebook page for more information on this new discovery!

Thinktank on pre-Columbian exhibition

SECAR was invited to attend a thinktank to develop ideas and concepts for an exhibition on pre-Columbian people in the Caribbean. The meeting was on Aruba and many new ideas and projects were discussed.
